About the Role...

We are seeking motivated and creative Teaching Associates (Chemistry) are passionate about teaching in small-group, active-learning environments. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy hands-on teaching, are open to exploring diverse teaching pedagogies, and are eager to grow professionally through varied classroom experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct engaging small-group lessons aligned with our student-centered, active-learning teaching philosophy
Deliver an average of 9–12 lessons per week, including covering classes for peers when needed
Prepare and deliver lessons using provided materials, while also contributing creative ideas, questions, and activities
Participate in teaching sessions outside the tuition centre, exploring alternative learning environments and pedagogical approaches
Adapt teaching methods to suit students’ learning pace, styles, and academic needs
Support a collaborative teaching culture by sharing best practices and lesson insights with fellow tutors
Maintain a positive, professional, and energetic classroom environment
Communicate effectively with students regarding lesson expectations and learning progress
Participate in marketing events and open houses as ambassadors of the company, as required.
Your job might also entail other ad-hoc duties such as work on educational projects or events.

Requirements

Strong Communication skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and stakeholders
Enthusiasm and passion for education and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Positive, self-resilient self-starter with strong work ethic.
Proficiency in Research and Analytical Skills to improve educational content and methodologies
Qualifications, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Sciences, or a related field. Relevant experience in Education is not required but will be an added advantage
Ideal candidates should be comfortable teaching Chemistry either at the GCE ‘O’ Level and/or ‘A’ Level. Experience in teaching across both levels is not required, but would be a welcome bonus and an opportunity for further growth.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
